Dear Friends and Voters,
The Campbell community has given so much to my family and me since the day I first moved here. I decided to run for City Council because I want to give back to the community that has been such an important part of our lives.
Our community deserves an experienced leader on the City Council who will bring sound management, ethical leadership and innovative ideas for delivering excellent services.
As an 8-year member of the Campbell Union High School District Board of Trustees, I have balanced multimillion-dollar budgets, negotiated with public employee unions and been exceptionally [consistently?] responsive to the concerns of parents, residents and students.
I have helped to successfully improve our local schools and I hope to serve the City of Campbell in the same way. I am a leader who believes in working collaboratively for the best interest of our community. I will work with the citizens of Campbell and my fellow City Council members to:
- Continue to keep our Campbell neighborhoods safe and secure.
- Improve neighborhood services for our youth, young adults, and seniors.
- Continue to build upon our successful downtown and business community.
- Work to solve our growing traffic problems
- Make sure our city government stays solvent and prepared to address future challenges
As we move forward, I will not forget why I am proud to live in the city of Campbell. I am committed to preserving our past while preparing for an even brighter future.
Please join neighborhood leaders, teachers, parents, and other Campbell residents in supporting me, Margie Mitchell for City Council.
